Two sisters. One shared vision. And a whole lot of heart poured into The Blue Door.

The Blue Door began with a simple idea: create a place where people could come together, make something with their hands, and leave with a memory.

Founded by sisters Stacey and Carly, both born and raised right here in Elizabethtown, The Blue Door grew from our shared love of creativity, community, and gathering people together. We started by bringing hands-on workshops and creative experiences to different spaces around town, building a community one workshop, one celebration, and one creative experience at a time.

As The Blue Door grew, so did our dream of creating a space of our own.

We envisioned a place that felt like an extension of our own homes — welcoming, comfortable, creative, and full of character. A place where you could walk in and feel at home, stay awhile, discover something new, celebrate with your people, or simply enjoy a slower moment in your day.

Turning that vision into a physical space became a journey of its own. We spent months dreaming, planning, renovating, painting, refinishing, building, sourcing, and making countless little decisions that brought our vision to life. We poured pieces of ourselves into every corner, creating a space that feels collected, personal, and uniquely ours.

Today, The Blue Door is a creative community space in downtown Elizabethtown — a place to gather, create, celebrate, and shop. Inside, you’ll find workshops and classes, private events, creative activities, thoughtfully chosen goods, and plenty of little details meant to make you feel at home.

More than anything, we hope The Blue Door becomes a place that belongs to the community.

A place for birthday celebrations and girls’ nights, kids’ activities and date nights, creative afternoons and spontaneous stops. A place to try something new, make something beautiful, or simply spend time with the people who matter most.
